Security DevOps Engineer

BtoBet, a leading technological solution and platform provider in the iGaming industry with
a passion to deliver cutting-edge products, is looking for a Security DevOps Engineer to join
the Company and the amazing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Information Technology Security field,
    focusing on AWS security
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS security components, services, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze
    complex security issues and develop practical solutions
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team,
    effectively communicating and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey
    complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

1. Security Architecture and Design:

  • Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Security teams to analyze security requirements and design secure cloud solutions based on AWS services
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement security solutions, including IAM, encryption, data protection, and network security
  • Implement security best practices for AWS services

2.  Infrastructure Security:

  • Provision, operate, and manage AWS cloud environments and on-prem data centers
  • securely
  • Configure and maintain security groups, network ACLs, and other AWS security-related
  • components and services
  • Configure and maintain traditional security controls (AntiVirus, Data Security, Network
  • Security, Patching, Firewall etc.)
  • Monitor security systems and tools to identify and address potential security risks or
  • vulnerabilities (e.g. AWS GuardDuty, AWS Config, WIZ, Qualys etc)
  • Document and report on AWS infrastructure’s security posture, providing stakeholders
  • with insights and recommendations

3. Automation and Deployment:

  • Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for secure application deployment
  • Use tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration

4. Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing and fix findings
  • Collaborate with auditors during compliance audits

5. Identity and Access Management (IAM):

  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions
  • Implement least privilege access controls
  • Monitor and audit IAM activities

6. Incident Response and Threat Detection:

  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation measures
  • Monitor logs and alerts for potential security risks and security incidents
